Notice of Court Fee Increase

Thank you for those that attended and sent over their apologies for our section meeting on Wednesday 31st May.

As discussed the club have had substantial rises in running costs over the last 12 months due to the economic energy price increases and a downturn in both court usage and membership uptake. We can no longer sustain to absorb these increases, therefore to ensure our clubs survival it was agreed by all that we should raise the court fees and group session fees by £1 across the board. From today the new fees listed below will come into effect. It was also decided to scrap any concessionary daytime fees that we have ran over the last 12 months.

Court fees from 2nd June 2023

Mon-Fri
Squash 9.00am - 5.00pm £5.30 per court 40 mins booking
£6.00 5pm Onwards Peak Mon - Fri
£5.30 all weekend per 40 mins

Mon - Fri
Badminton 9-3 £5.50 1 hr booking
£7 per hr afterwards
£6.00 All weekend per Hr

All Club Night and Group sessions are now £4 per session.

Those that have already booked before this increase will still be charged at the original court booking fee.

As a section we will be setting up a new Facebook and Website page to help us promote our facilities. I will keep you up to date of the developments and go live date. This will give us more opportunities to showcase group, junior coaching events, teams and competition news and open nights to help attract new members.

In the coming weeks we will be restructuring the payment options for your membership. From July we will be offering a direct debit payment option or payment in full with a discount applied. This will only apply when your subscription is due for renewal.
