*UPDATED** New Membership Pricing for 2026 - 2027
Dear [[firstname]] [[lastname]]
Following on from last years reduction in membership prices I am happy to report that it has been agreed with the BMSA committee that the memberships prices will be reduced again this year to try and increase our membership numbers.
Therefore the fees this year will be:
Existing individual rackets: £45 fee for 2026-2027
Existing family rackets: £90 fee for 2026-2027
New individual rackets: £20
New family rackets: £45
To try and increase revenue there is a small increase in Court costs will now be a flat £8 (squash and badminton) all day.
Group sessions remain at £5 per player.
Please could you ensure you settle your [[membership_category]] membership for 2026-2027 by 24th October. Door cards for memberships not paid by then will be deactivated.

The other good news is that this membership pricing structure is being reviewed with all other BMSA sports sections with the aim to align all sports to a single membership pricing model but this will be communicated once it is agreed.
Again as last year the fee for new members is remaining at only £20, so please I encourage all members to reach out to anyone who may have stopped playing, or might be interested in taking it up, as this price should now remove upfront fees being a blocker, and existing social members might be tempted to upgrade to rackets for the extra £5.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me, and if you do have any issues with your door card, please speak to Dom at the bar in the first instance.
Thanks again for your continued support.
Sam
