Memberships

"Dear members,

In my letter to you sent yesterday reporting on our most recent AGM/EGM, your membership renewal was mentioned.

As you know, we have a new door entry system which will replace the current fobs.

We have been trying to get this system operational since June when were getting the club re-opened and members were re-joining at that point. .

Consequently, we are going to bite the bullet with membership renewals. Ideally, if you are an existing member then your memberships should be due in on October 1st, However, we have given members periods of grace which has tended to drag on.

This year your period of grace will be 14 days between 1st -14th October. The fob system will be disabled at some point from the 15th October, and members who have not re-joined will have their cards deactivated.

To point out what the basic principles are this year see below with the information we require. : Pricing details will be circulated by section reps for each section.

For existing members the following options are going to be available

1. You pay the full fee for the year.

2. You pay a rebated price for your sport.

3. You pay a rebated price for your sport, yet donate the difference between full and rebated price.

For the rebated price and donation they need to be seen as separate payments so that we can take advantage of associated tax breaks.

So when you make a payment can you please specify name + sport + membership (i.e G.Benson, Judo, memb renewal) and/or for donation (i.e. G. Benson, donation). whether by paying through BACS or the bar..

4. For new members only, we are offering a new membership discount for 3 months - October - December only. This is to try to recruit
new members. The price will be greater than the rebated price to existing members.

You can either renew your membership at the bar or by BACS Payment.
