Back to Racket Sports

Good afternoon members,

I hope you are keeping safe and well.

Great news! This week the UK Government has announced that we will move to Step 2 of the COVID Spring Recovery plan on Monday 12 April. Following the updated rules for indoor gyms and leisure facilities, squash clubs and venues can reopen their doors for the following permitted activity:

BMSA is re-opening its doors on Monday 12th April. Courts will be available as follows -

Mon - Fri 10.00 am. 19.20 hrs Last Court
Saturday 10.00 am - 17.00 hrs Last Court
Sunday 10.00 am - 19.20 hrs Last Court

Note members must sign in and out of the building using the register in the Foyer and using the Q Code Posters.

Squash Court sessions are strictly 40 mins per booking. Please ensure you are off court promptly. You must allow 20 minutes between sessions. Badminton is 1 hr per session.

Unfortunately we are limited in the ways we can play. Permitted play is as follows -

solo practice or one-to-one coaching for adults
same household play including support bubble (as defined by Government)
out-of-school setting (OOSS) activity
school, college or university groups engaged in curriculum-based, coach-led/supervised activity, children who are participating in coach-led/supervised/OOSS activity or players with disabilities.

Please ensure these rules are adhered to ensure we stop the spread of Covid-19.

A reminder that memberships are now due for Oct 2020 - Sept 2021.
These are being offered at a rebated cost.

Individual £67.00
Family £101

Please ensure your memberships are up to date and paid promptly. Key-fobs will be disarmed during May, so please use your Swipe Card where possible.

Thank you once again for your continued support.

I look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Regards
Shaun Watkin
