Latest Guidance for Squash and Badminton

Good afternoon Members,

I hope you are all managing to keep safe and well during these testing times. I would like to thank all of those members who have returned to play and supported the club since we re-opened in August.

As you are aware Staffordshire is now entering into a Tier 2 High Level Alert for Covid. Unfortunately this does now affect the way’s we can play. From 12.01am on Saturday we are no longer allowed to play full court squash, sides or socially distanced games / practices with players from a different household. I have attached a PDF of the Tiers to show ways we can play. We are still permitted to play games from the same household or solo practice. We are still permitted to coach 1-1 using socially distance routines.

Any Member found to be disobeying these rules will face sanctions from the club.

This applies also to Badminton.

I will keep you all up to date with any developments that will change how we can play moving forward. Latest guidance can be found at https://www.englandsquash.com/back-to-squash/guidance.

If you have any queries please feel free to contact me.

Best regards

Shaun Watkin
