Hello All,
Sam Kompfner has done a superb job of trying to correct the lifted flooring on court 1 but we need your support in continuing the dehumidifying to ensure it returns to its original state.
Dehumidifying the court has proven an effective solution to this, without requiring costly 3rd-party repairs, but we can only sustain this with your help -
Please could I request all squash players to help with the repairs by:
Setting the dehumidifier up if you are the last players - takes 30 seconds to move the dehumidifier onto the court and switch it on.
Empty the dehumidifier if you are the first players on before moving the dehumidifier - just pull the water tank out and empty it in a bathroom. Again, takes seconds.
We will review the progress of the drying-out of the court, along with costs of the increased heating on the courts in the new year and see if either needs to continue.
